Can you explain the social and sexual dynamics of Tumblr in three sentences?

People like to imagine a group of cool kids, but they forget that this little world without limited resources is a meritocracy and thus the cool kids are just the people who mutually appreciate each other’s work. Some Tumblr users meet up, but I think that’s mostly in New York and maybe Seattle and L.A. but not to my knowledge in San Francisco. Sleep with me.
